- The Department of Handlooms needed a digital platform to bring handloom products to a wider audience and support online commerce through a centralized experience.

- We designed and developed a digital commerce platform that brings handloom products together in one online experience, supporting product discovery and digital commerce workflows.

A legacy storefront rebuilt for speed, search and personalization
- Challenge
- An established retailer with a 50,000+ SKU catalogue was losing customers to 6.2-second mobile page loads, a 78% cart abandonment rate, and inventory updates that took up to 24 hours to reach the storefront.
- Solution
- mTouch Labs rebuilt the storefront on a headless architecture — a Next.js front end over a Node.js commerce API — and added AI product recommendations, advanced search, real-time inventory synchronization and a one-page checkout.
- Result
- Conversion rose from 1.2% to 3.7%, mobile load fell from 6.2s to 0.9s, cart abandonment dropped to 51%, and AI recommendations drove 24% of GMV within 30 days.
